After a busy day at school, what better than to curl up on the couch with a fizzy drink, a bowl of Maltesers, and to watch cartoons? Though October has only just arrived, the weather is ‘wet wet wet’ thus I’m all for fluffy blankets, hot drinks and keeping cosy on the couch.

I’m all for downtime after a busy day, especially if it should offer me the chance to take five and to rest my eyelids for a moment.

We’ve had a fair bit of downtime too- starting pre-school seems to have worn us all out! I’ll be glad when the weather improves- I don’t mind the cold but hate the rain.
