May has been the month of change, both in terms of the weather and in terms of circumstances. E sat her dreaded SAT exams, followed shortly by her Cyclewise course both of which I’m almost certain that she aced. J, meanwhile spent weeks on end revising like a demon for his RE GCSE examinations which he the completed and I’m sure he will have excelled in.
E’s amazing artwork was featured in a local exhibition and whilst on our travels to view said masterpieces, we dropped E’s beloved flute off with the local ‘music man’ for a service and repair. Much to E’s delight, said flute is now home safe and securely stored in a beautiful new bag. She’s since spent most evenings serenading us with various Disney songs and I have to say it sounds a million times better than before.
May saw J celebrate his fifteenth birthday and as always, was spoilt rotten with cards and gifts galore. He’s since spent most days swanning around the cul-de-sac on his new electronic scooter or playing with various gadgets and gizmos that he was gifted.
The kids are now enjoying a well-deserved rest as it’s the half-term holidays. Paul and I have opted to use the time wisely and to fix-up and furnish a few bits and bats around the house whilst we can. Here’s hoping that the sunshine stays with us and we can spend some time relaxing as a family once we’ve completed the endless DIY tasks ahead of us.
Thank you for reading this month’s #LivingArrows . I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your posts or comments on this post.
