June has flown by in what seems like a flash, the summer has well and truly arrived as we’ve had almost endless sunshine for the past month and despite being pale and pasty, I’m quite enjoying the extra rays.
Looking back it doesn’t seem like we’ve done an awful lot this past month but I’ve barely stopped for a second. I have listed some of my favoured moments from the month in this months instalment of things which I have #LikedandLoved
Getting Back To Blogging
As you may have (or not have) noticed I took a bit of a break from blogging, it was for almost a month in total and whilst I think the break did me some good I have to admit, it was pretty good to get back to the Macbook.…
May has certainly been the month for sunshine, we’ve spent the past few weeks literally baking in our back garden and I’ve enjoyed every moment of what I guess will be the British summer this year.
Along with the sunshine there’s been plenty of other thing to enjoy, I have listed a few of which in this months instalment of things which I have #LikedandLoved.
Yes To York
Earlier this month our beautiful boy, J went on a three-day residential to York with his class friends. Whilst I worried myself sick as to whether he’d eat, clean, sleep and generally get along I needn’t have stressed as he had a super time.…
April sure has been a busy month – we seem to have such an incredible amount in such a short space of time. I wouldn’t say that time has exactly flown as it’s felt like forever waiting for pay-day but I’ve certainly kept myself entertained and exhausted throughout the month. Here are a few of the things which I have #LikedandLoved throughout April.
We Added A Further Four Paws To Our Family
We’ve been planning on getting a puppy for some time now and earlier this month we did precisely that. Maisy, our beautiful basset hound was eight weeks old when she came to us and since arriving she has made herself right at home and is growing at an incredible pace.…
As March comes to a close, I’ve spent a little time looking back upon the past month gone by. So much has altered and changed that my life as I knew it is barely recognisable.
As always I will endeavour to share some of the many things which I have ‘Liked and Loved‘ throughout the past month.
Getting Back Into The Classroom
As you may have read in my previous instalment of ‘Liked and Loved’, I was recently offered a temporary ‘Teaching Assistant’ role which I have continued to carry out over the past few weeks. I have since gone on to apply for a contracted position which I was successful in attaining.…
Where on earth did February go to? It may be the shortest month of the year but it barely feels as if it’s been a week since we were in January. Saying that we have done all kinds of things both in and out of the house throughout the past month, we’ve certainly been busy bees!
As always at the end of each month, I sit down and take a moment to reflect upon a few of the things which I have ‘Liked and Loved’ so without further ado here is this months effort.
I Have A New Job!
After two years of desperately trying to find a new job (ideally work within the Education sector) I finally made my lucky break, as I was offered a casual Teaching Assistant role within the local Primary School in which I have been working on a voluntary basis.…
