#LittleLoves – May 2019

Half term is almost over, as is the month of May. It’s been a manic month, to say the least, we have been super busy but we’ve had plenty of fun. Here are a few of my #LittleLoves from the past month.

Read

This was the month that finally got back into the books, chick lit (as it requires barely any brain power) but still a fantastic little read.

Sophie Kinsella is one of my preferred authors, I clearly remember reading the Shopaholic series and thoroughly enjoying her material. Sophie’s ‘My Not So Perfect Life’ was another awesome read which I thoroughly recommend.…

#LittleLoves – April 2019

We’ve had an incredibly busy but fun-packed April. With Easter, the half term holidays, Paul’s birthday and the day-to-day grind, we simply haven’t had time to stop – it’s been enjoyable but exhausting! So without further waffle, here are a few of my #LittleLoves for this month.

Read

I’ve continued to work my way through Fern Cotton’s ‘Happy’ and have almost finished this book but otherwise I’ve simply not had the time to sit and to read. I keep promising myself to make time, I’ve had my Kindle out on the side charging numerous times yet fail to relax and to read.…

#LittleLoves – March 2019

The holidays have finally arrived, though I’ve spent the past month referring to them as ‘The Easter Break’ this isn’t the case at all as Easter falls far later this year. It doesn’t feel as though we’ve reached the end of March, although my bank balance may wish to differ.

Time seems to fly by when you’re busy with children, work and everything else. I barely even know what day of the week it is never mind what the date happens to be! So without further waffle or wittering, here are some of my #LittleLoves throughout March:

I have been meaning to pick and to peruse a book for myself this month.…

#LittleLoves – February 2019

It’s been a funny old February as despite not doing an incredible amount, I’ve spent the past month feeling absolutely exhausted. I’m currently choka-block with cold and I’ve spent the past fortnight going back and forth to the hospital regarding a suspected fracture. I haven’t had the luckiest nor the healthiest month, yet looking on the positive side – here are my #LittleLoves for February 2019.

Read

J was recently asked to read Louis Sachar’s ‘Holes’ as part of his school work, as instructed we have since read a few chapters of this book each week. However, we became so hooked with the story that we simply had to read ahead.…

#LittleLoves – January 2019

I made a promise to myself to partake in some new linkies this year and whilst #LittleLoves isn’t entirely a new linky, it has certainly changed since I last wrote a post for this series. Firstly, the linky was originally scheduled each week, whereas now it is published on a monthly basis (upon the final Friday of each month). Secondly, the linky is now based on an entirely new blog as it has been handed from Morgana over to ‘Mummy Hearts You‘.

I’ve really rather missed the #LittleLoves linky and am therefore really looking forward to having it back in my life for 2019.…
