Following what was a busy week, E, my Mum, and I packed our suitcases and made our way to Manchester for Friday evening where we stayed at the Hampton Hilton in the Northern Quarter for two nights. After catching up on some sleep we spent Saturday exploring the city centre; E was introduced to the joys of Afflecks Palace and then we filled our trolleys and spent our pennies at Primark prior to returning to the hotel laden with bags galore.
After a quick shower, change of clothes, and a few snacks, we grabbed E’s ear defenders and hailed a taxi to the AO Arena ready for an evening with George Ezra. It was E’s first-ever gig and to say she was excited was an understatement! George was, as expected, exceptional – so much so that E fell into floods of tears as she was so overwhelmed.

Following a full-on day in the city and a late night singing, dancing, and joining in with her beloved Mr Ezra, E was completely and utterly exhausted. Thankfully, Mum and I managed to get us all a Taxi back to the hotel just in time as E was asleep within seconds of hitting the pillow.
It was a joy to see E’s elation as she saw ‘her hero’ take to the stage – it was most certainly a night to remember and will be a memory which I hope E retains for a lifetime.
Thank you for reading and as always, I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments on this post.

It sounds like you had such a nice break. We loved George Ezra in concert too – he seems like such a nice guy, really humble x
