The summer holidays have finally arrived and at last, we can kick back, unwind and relax for a few weeks. We’ve got UK-based travel plans for later in the summer but for now, we’re enjoying the simplicity of home life without a set routine and the joy of waking without an alarm.
E’s spent the past few days working her way through a one thousand-piece jigsaw and has been busy watching the Harry Potter films whilst instructing Paul to concoct various HP-themed mocktails including her latest love – The Flirtini!
J is now a typical teenager and seems to spend most of his time camped out in his bedroom either coding or gaming. He’s certainly enjoying the lazy lay-ins that the summer holidays provide, I’m also rather enjoying the extra duvet time – it’s what holidays are for!
