My my it’s been a busy weekend, Paul nor I stopped for a second as we were both so busy catching up with ourselves. The kids on the other hand enjoyed time bouncing on the trampoline, swinging on their swing-set, splashing in the hot tub (which was actually cold following being emptied, cleaned and refilled), scooting, painting, crafting, and taking walks with the dog.

How we fit all that we do into two days is beyond me but our weekly routine has led us to run around like blue-bottomed flies to ensure that we tick all the boxes and get everything done. It’s not too long now until the summer and though we’ve got a whole heap of things to box up, pack away and to arrange before then, I’m rather looking forward to a rest from the regular routine.

Life does feel very hectic at the moment doesn’t it? We’ve actually got a Saturday with nothing on today for the first time in weeks!

I love it when the kids can have a great time whilst we’re doing jobs and things. Best of both worlds and as the saying goes, as long as the kids are happy! x

Summer holidays are definitely creeping up on us and I have not done half the things I wanted to do yet. Hoping for a very productive three weeks! Can not beat a splash in the hot tub.
I seem to spend my days off just work work work lol… forever catching up with things!
