Welcome to this weeks #MySundaySnapshot post, part of a new-ish blog-linky which you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
It’s been a seriously lengthy week, I feel as if I’ve had to squeeze every second from each and every day. I’m exhausted and more than ready for a break, which is just as well as half-term has finally arrived. Though saying that, I’ve already plenty planned and placed into the pipeline for the week ahead.
Whilst I’m a people pleaser by nature, I’ve come to realise that I cannot be in more than one place at once, there are only twenty-four hours in one day and I simply cannot do everything for everyone. I really need to start putting myself first from time to time as I’ve been burning the candle at both ends for a little too long. I’m completely wrung out, exhausted and in need of some serious rest. It’s time to come clean – I’m not Super Woman after all.
I’d love to be able to tick everybody’s boxes, to put a smile on everyone’s face and to do even more than I already am but I just can’t… If I had a wish right now, it’d be for more hours in the day but that’s never going to happen. I guess I can only do my best and I’m sorry if that isn’t quite good enough.
This weeks photo was taken a little while ago when I first got my new phone. I love a dandelion seed, I remember as a child I’d make a wish whilst blowing the dandelion seeds from the pod, I still do this as an adult – if only wishes came true.
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.
