We have been so so lucky with the weather this year as despite the endless wind, rain, and miserable weather both Halloween and Bonfire night miraculously remained dry thus the kids were able to enjoy themselves whilst trick or treating and watching the fireworks without getting soaked to the bone.
Though I did my best to capture some atmospheric snapshots during the festivities, fireworks and sparklers aren’t all that easy to photograph as they often blur, streak, or don’t show up as had planned in pictures. I did however capture this really cute photo of our little lady holding her sparkler like a wand at arm’s length pointing it towards the fireworks whilst shouting “Lumos” in a demanding tone akin to Hermione Granger.
If only Hogwarts was real – E would be delighted to accept the school offer and to go shopping in Diagon Alley for her various spellbooks, her wand, and of course an owl!
