Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
We’ve been so lucky with the weather this year as not only did Halloween remain dry for trick or treating, but Bonfire Night was also thankfully a clear evening. We managed to squeeze in not just one but two fantastic fireworks displays this year, both of which were stunningly spectacular against the starry November sky.
“Remember, remember the Fifth of November,
The Gunpowder Treason and Plot,
I know of no reason
Why the Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot.”
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

Great photo. I do like fireworks, but we haven’t been to any displays. We saw a lot in the distance when we were out walking last night though.
Glad you managed to enjoy the fireworks. The weather hasn’t been so kind here, we had a lot of soggy trick or treaters on Halloween and bonfire night was a little wet but incredibly cold and windy. We saw lots of fireworks from the window though.
My twitter feed was filled with Anonymous pics and it took me awhile to realise what was going on! Hope you had a lovely night. I learnt only a little while ago that Guy Fawkes was the scapegoat. He was just the explosives guy. The mastermind never got caught, if I recall….will find.
What do you mean anonymous pics ?
Note, lots of swear words, so don’t read if that’s an issue for you. He is a historian tho. The book is brilliant. But very sweary. https://www.facebook.com/profile/100050494959334/search/?q=guy%20fawkes
Looks like a fantastic firework. You have captured it very well keeping its excitement.
Thanks for hosting. Have a great week!
