The weeks sure are whizzing by of late, especially the weekends – time sure is flying by and I can barely believe that we’ve got less than a fortnight to go before the summer holidays arrive. I won’t lie, we’ve been counting down for a little while now and E is adamant that she finishes this Friday coming despite me assuring her that she’s got an extra week on top of that.
We enjoyed yet another walk with our mad dogs through the fields this weekend. E fed her beloved ducks (who are now so brave that they get out of the water and literally waddle to her feet to collect their bread) and J found a rather large stick which he proceeded to swing around wizard-style until we requested he leave it by the pond much to his disappointment.

It’s not too long until we are free to wander on a daily basis as all routines will go out of the window come the holidays. The kids thoroughly deserve six weeks off as they’ve worked incredibly hard during one of the most difficult years of their life thus far. Bring on the break and bring on the sunshine!
