With less than a week to go until the half-term holidays, both J & E are most definitely ready for some time out to rest and relax – I too am rather looking forward to a rest from the regular routine. It’s been a busy six weeks or so, especially this past weekend which we spent celebrating J’s thirteenth birthday in Blackpool.

It was E’s first visit to the Pleasure Beach and her first experience riding a rollercoaster. In hindsight, taking E on the Grand National only three rides into the day wasn’t really the best idea, but she did it despite screaming blue murder throughout the entirety of the coaster and I couldn’t be prouder – she’s such a beautiful, bold, and brave little lady!
Having established that she was most certainly not a fan of the rollercoasters, E opted to stick to the smoother rides such as the Derby Darby horse carousel which was E’s firm favourite and we rode several times throughout our visit.
Thank you for reading and as always, I look forward to catching up with your #LivingArrows either through your own posts or comments on this post.

Our two have always been hit and miss with rides – some they refuse point blank to go on, some they love and others they scream the whole way through! It looks like E has found her type of ride x
Glad you had a fab time at the Pleasure Beach. I grew up in Blackpool and we live 20 minutes away now but we still haven’t taken the boys there!
She looks happy with the carousel! We haven’t been to a theme park as a family yet a sky husband hates most rides!
Aww my hubby isn’t keen on coasters but he rides them at least.
