We’ve been making the most of the holidays and have been enjoying some serious downtime; Paul and I finally had the time to move J’s wardrobe contents around thus making room for his drawers and in turn space for his drumkit which has finally moved into his bedroom – where it should have been all along. It truly is the little accomplishments in life which seem to bring such satisfaction! J is over the moon that he is now able to drum away to his heart’s content, though the neighbours may not feel quite the same joy…
E meanwhile has been keeping herself busy with her usual singing, dancing, designing, colouring, dressing up and reading. which she took great pleasure in earlier this week as she found that she had some freebies stuck to the front of her new Barbie magazine, which I must say look rather fetching!
Though we haven’t really gone far or done all that much during the holidays, we’ve been opting to stay safe and have stuck to simple dog walks, playing in the garden and to be honest we are so accustomed to being ‘at home’ that we are quite happy staying as so, at least until we’ve been vaccinated and perhaps then we may venture further.
