It’s been a none-stop till you drop kind of day, yet for once I don’t really feel all that tired. I’m sure that come tomorrow morning, when the alarm clock kicks in, I’ll wonder which planet I reside upon and wish I’d gone to bed earlier. Until then however, I feel fairly energised which I’m guessing is partly down to the lighter nights and the idea of two weeks holiday just around the corner. We have all sorts of plans for the half term; with it being Paul’s birthday and almost Easter we’re hoping to get away for a few …
Easter
Easter is upon us and unlike most parents who’ve no doubt gone the extra mile to make Easter egg-stra special for the little ones, I feel that I’ve done next to nothing. I’ve seen pictures of parents baking, crafting, organising egg hunts and all kinds of marvellous malarkey and I really ought to get my bunny ears out and get cracking with the Easter shizz but I seem to be lacking motivation. This means two things … Firstly, lighter nights or in other words, having to convince your kids that it is time to go to bed despite it still being light outside. Secondly, we will get one less hour in bed as time magically skips forward an hour. Whilst I love the idea of summer nights, realistically it means that bedtime will seem like hell on earth for a week or so whilst our little …
