#MySundayPhoto – Sandy Silhouettes

It’s Sunday, the weekend is officially over and yet I feel like it barely began. We have just and so got back into some kind of a routine and already both Paul and I feel utterly shattered. It’ll be an early night for both of us tonight I think, I for one need to catch up on some serious beauty sleep!

I read a meme earlier on Facebook which said “Parenting is like a walk in the park, JURASSIC PARK” and I totally agree, kids somehow mange to knock the stuffing out of us.

If we aren’t running around after them then we are busy tidying away their many toys, helping them with their homework, feeding them, bathing them, reading to them, begging them to go to sleep or simply just sitting with them hoping Peppa the sodding Pig might allow us two minutes rest bite.

On top of all that there’s work, appointments, chores and life in general which as a parent is never dull. Come Sunday night you are left feeling like an old sock which fell from the laundry basket. Make of that what you will…
