The Easter Bunny came to visit our house last night; he very kindly left us a map, countless clues, and hoards of chocolate that the kids spent this morning collecting from in and around the house.
Having spent almost an hour runnings upstairs, downstairs, inside and outside (within the confines of the legal lockdown perimeters of course) the kids now have an extensive collection of eggs. There may be a shortage of bog roll and pasta but there are certainly no worries when it comes to chocolate!
As always, my husband went waaaaay over the top creating an elaborate map and clues for the annual Easter egg hunt, his efforts took him almost a week to complete and he continued putting together and polishing off his master plans until almost 2 am last night (or should I say this morning?).
Though Paul’s efforts were well worthwhile, I am utterly exhausted (as is he, bless him) thus I plan to kick back on the sofa with a fresh brew and some Easter treats, well why the heck not?

Ahh so lucky. We couldn’t get any eggs so unfortunately we’ve had to miss easter which my son struggled with how the Easter bunny managed to get to some children and not him #ordinarymoments

Haha my other half made clues for our egg hunt too – was our first time having clues for them as they’ve only just learned to read but it was so fun! Yours looks fab 😀
