So here we are in September; the summer months are coming to a close as the nights begin drawing in and autumn makes its steady arrival. This beautiful Black and orange Halloween Wreath is made up of baubles in a variety of textures, tones, and finishes with additional spiders, webs, and bats to give it a spectacular spooky feel. With a diameter of 40.5cm, this wicked wreath is actually quite lightweight and very easy to hang either indoors perhaps above a mantle piece, or outdoors as a statement piece for your front door.

Lighting it up for Halloween

Having read and watched the entirety of Harry Potter, my daughter is quite the budding little witch. She was super excited to review the star-shaped Lights4Fun fairy lights (which are now hung pride of place in her Harry Potter-themed boudoir) and couldn’t wait to get her hands on further spooky lighting and decor. Having sat her down to select some items for the autumn season, she very quickly selected these beautiful bat lights. The spooky string of 10 Wooden Bat Halloween Fairy Lights is powered by three AA batteries (with an optional six-hour timer) and is ideal for hanging over a mantle piece to send the household ‘batty for Halloween’.

Along with the bats (above), my daughter selected these cute Felt Witches Hat Halloween Lights. With four black and four grey hats spread along 2.3m of lights, these fairy lights are powered by three AA batteries (with an optional six-hour timer) and look great hung anywhere around the house to cast the Halloween charm.

Not being one to miss out on the fun, my son then joined us in our quest to select and sort through Lights4Fun huge selection of Halloween goodies. He very quickly came across these Purple and orange Festoon Lights which he decided would be ideal not just for Halloween but also for his room (as he is about to upgrade his decor from blue to purple).

This string of twenty purple and orange festoon lights (made from perspex with festoon caps with a side hook and small drainage holes spread evenly across 4.75m of black cable) has eight multi-functions offering different lighting effects including flashing, static, a memory function. and a six-hour timer.

Ideal for indoor and outdoor use, these awesome orange and purple lights connect to a low-voltage transformer plug and have five meters of additional cable provided.

Lovely Lanterns

Featuring a flickering candle effect ideal this must-have Halloween lantern is ideal as a table centerpiece to set the mood. Measuring 30.5 x 14 x 14cm and powered by three AAA batteries (with a six-hour timer), this beautiful black and orange witch-themed Halloween lantern is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

To Summarise

Whilst the USA is renowned for celebrating Halloween in a big way with pumpkins, treats, sweets, decorations, and lights galore, the UK has been somewhat behind for quite some time now which is amusing considering that it was originally a Celtic festival.
