I’ve been reading and working with the original Pantha Oracle (and additional Western and Chinese zodiac cards) for almost a year now. I therefore couldn’t help but be interested in the latest, watercolour edition of this dreamy divination deck. Designed and published by Deckstiny, the Pantha Oracle Ver. Watercolor (I’ll spell it as ‘watercolour’ from now on as I’m British through and through…) is an eighty-five-card oracle deck featuring charming, cutesy imagery and clear keywords.
Deckstiny
Deckstiny, formerly named ‘Shuffle Tarot’ is a Thailand-based company that has created numerous popular Tarot and divination decks that are available to purchase Worldwide. Deckstiny is a team collaboration of Mate Horonumber, Oomsin Phumphat, Jujiir and a range of other creators.
Presentation & Packaging
The original Pantha Oracle was a beautiful deck featuring glitzy pink edging and card backs. However, it arrived in a simple, paper tuck box that was both flimsy and awkward to open. The newer, Pantha Oracle (Ver 2. Watercolor) has been upgraded somewhat as it now has a sturdy, rigid, box ideal for storage and presentation purposes and featuring thumb slots for easy access.
Additional Art Cards & Certification
Each deck that Deckstiny publishes is limited in printing numbers and comes with the official certification of your exact deck number and edition. The Pantha Oracle Ver. Watercolor arrives with a certification card, two packing cards, a title card, and a thank you card.
The Cards
The Pantha Oracle Ver. Watercolor is an eighty-five-card divination deck printed on 57 x 98mm 330 GSM art card with a matt coating, blue foil glitter edging, and pastel blue, pink, and white card backs.
Whilst this deck comes without a guidebook, there is no real need for any guidance as each card features a simple image alongside a title word and three further keywords thus the deck is simple and easy to understand, interpret, and work with.
Comparing the Pantha Oracle & The Pantha Oracle Ver 2. Watercolor
Whilst the original Pantha Oracle and the latest Pantha Oracle Ver 2. Watercolor shares the same cards, imagery, and keywords (minus the zodiac cards which were additional cards available to purchase for the original deck), there are however several differences between these decks.
Firstly, the original Pantha Oracle seems to have thinner cards than those within the latest watercolour edition. Secondly, the original Pantha Oracle featured pretty pink glitzy edging and white/ pink card backs whereas the latest watercolour edition of this deck now has brilliant blue glitzy card edging and blue, pastel pink, and white card backs which appear slightly busier in style than the previous deck.

Thirdly, the imagery is identical but now features a watercolour filter making it appear slightly easier on the eye alongside white card backgrounds rather than a solid colour (as seen above). Finally, the fonts used for the title text, card number, and keywords have been updated and in my opinion, are far more appealing to adult readers.
Reading & Working With The Pantha V2 Oracle
Though I’ve spent the past year working with the original Pantha Oracle cards and I rather adore the pretty pink edging, I much prefer the latest, watercolour edition of this deck as I love the watercolour-style imagery, updated fonts, and funkier card backs. I also prefer the thicker cardstock and love how smooth and easy this deck is to shuffle with it’s beautiful matt finish.
I’ve always been a fan of the Pantha Oracle but the latest Pantha Oracle Ver 2. Watercolor is by far the best out of the two decks both for the sturdy storage and the new, updated, sleek and stylish appearance.
This is such a simple deck to work with, you needn’t have any skills within divination as such to interpret and use these cards. They are so clear, concise, and easy to read with given that they have simplistic, clear keywords and imagery. I personally tend to add one or more of these cards to my daily Tarot readings as a way to give clarification and to gain further information and guidance.
