#MySundayPhoto – Silence By The Sea

I love spending time walking along the beach, it sure blows the cobwebs away and enables me to have a moment’s peace to gather my thoughts as I wander silently by the sea.

We are so lucky to live in such in such a scenic, peaceful area. I often take our idyllic surroundings for granted, it’s what we have become accustomed to and has therefore become our ‘norm’.

We are all guilty of dreaming of far away lands, whether it’s a holiday destination or considering moving house. I think we all need to learn to ‘open our eyes’ and to really appreciate what we have right before us.

Silence By The Sea

#MySundayPhoto - Silence By The Sea

It’s taken me a long time but I have finally come to realise just how lucky I am to live my life just as it is, to appreciate my surroundings and to enjoy each day. Life is a bit like a beach, forever changing.

I hope that you have had a good Sunday with plenty of rest, smiles and memorable moments.

Thanks for reading and as always I look forward to catching up with your #MySundayPhoto pictures either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

We all need to practice a little mindfulness. Appreciate what we have around us and take time to see and hear new things in familiar surroundings.

I love going into London, it’s not the hustle bustle I like but the buildings and alley ways.

I, too, am lucky, in that we live near the sea, unfortunately in the summer, the beaches, here in Devon, get so full of tourists, that we tend to stay in the garden, the dog enjoys a good run on the sand, out of season though
