Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.

Bright, bold, and beautiful, Foxgloves are a thing of wonder as, despite their immaculate image, they are actually incredibly poisonous. I find the similarities between nature and society endlessly interesting, and so when I spotted these fabulous foxgloves it got me to thinking how I’ve often admired individuals for their initial appearance – the first impressions if you will though once I’ve delved deeper and have got to learn who they truly are, there are so many instances when I’ve found that sadly their appearance was a falsity as their personalities were poisonous…
The foxglove is a great reminder that we should never judge a book by its cover, nor a flower by its beauty, nor a person by their appearance…
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

That is a very deep thought! I do love looking at foxgloves, but warned the kids from an early age that they are definitely for looking and not touching.
Indeed they are beautiful
Such beautiful flowers and I can fully understand your analogy to people. I’m using butterflies for personification on my post, but they are much nicer 🙂
Butterflies are much prettier
