Bright, bold, and beautiful, Foxgloves are a thing of wonder as, despite their immaculate image, they are actually incredibly poisonous. I find the similarities between nature and society endlessly interesting, and so when I spotted these fabulous foxgloves it got me to thinking how I’ve often admired individuals for their initial appearance – the first impressions if you will though once I’ve delved deeper and have got to learn who they truly are, there are so many instances when I’ve found that sadly their appearance was a falsity as their personalities were poisonous…
The foxglove is a great reminder that we should never judge a book by its cover, nor a flower by its beauty, nor a person by their appearance…
