#MySundaySnapshot – A Wet & Wild Weekend 02/52 (2020)

Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a blog-linky simply to share snapshots that you are more than welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.

It’s been a wet and wild weekend, the weather has been miserable! As we weren’t planning on going anywhere anyhow, we’ve busied ourselves with clearing and cleaning around the house. The kids meanwhile have kept themselves entertained with play-dough, painting, chalks, train tracks and J’s latest love – The Sims!

#MySundaySnapshot - A Wet & Wild Weekend 02/52 (2020)

Thankfully our little man is now well on the road to recovery, though he hasn’t really been up to going out as of yet, perhaps the offer of a Sunday lunch may just coax him into getting his coat on… I completely understand he’s uncomfortable though, he’s had such a rough time of it.

I cannot express how relieved I am that J is finally healing and seems to be feeling more like himself. I’m hoping that he might feel ready to return to school at some point in the next week.

The past seven days have been so incredibly stressful, I’ve no idea what we have done if it weren’t for our family and friends offering their help and support. Thanks to those of you that sent such lovely messages of support, it meant a lot!

Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

It sounds like you’ve all had a really tough week, but glad to hear that J is getting better.

It’s been tough as old boots – here’s hoping this next week is easier!

so sorry to hear how difficult it has been for J and you all. I think a rainy weekend is probably the best way to force you to relax, reflect and heal. I hope things improve much more over the next week. x

Everywhere seems to have had bad weather apart from here. We’re due it during the week though.
Ahh! The Sims is fab! I spent a good couple of hours playing this afternoon.
It sounds like your son is recovering well. Good luck with him going back to school x

Glad his op went ok and hopefully he is starting to feel better? It was a vile weekend last weekend, wasn’t it?
