Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.
So this is Christmas and, according to the media, it’s apparently the season of joy and family cheer. Yet for many, it’s nothing of the sort, especially so in our current financial climate. Whilst you may spend this time of year surrounded by your loved ones, for many this isn’t the case, and whilst you’re tucking into your roast turkey with glee, just take a moment to remember those who will find this time of year even more difficult due to whatever circumstances they may be enduring, spare a thought for those without heating, without a hot meal, without their loved ones, without…
If you’ve got the spare time or the spare pennies it’s well worth taking the opportunity to donate some supplies to a food bank, pop some pennies into a local or national charity, or simply give your time to someone who might need a helping hand. It’s worthwhile to remember that many this year will be feeling fear rather than cheer, so do what you can when you can to make a difference.
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

Thank you! That is a really important reminder. I will make sure to put a few things in the food bank collection at the supermarket this week.
A wonderful post! Wishing you a happy holiday season.

Sending loads of love, I hope you manage to have an enjoyable Christmas as possible xx
It is an important reminder to help when we can, especially at this time of year. My youngest girls school have opened their own food bank and I have been donating things. x
Yes, I think now more than ever, those that can help need to. It’s really tough for people at the moment. Just on the basics! Happy Christmas to you.
