Despite the cooling, crisp, winter air, I’ve spent the majority of this weekend either fanning myself from overheating or hugging a hot water bottle to try and get warm – oh the joys of hormones in your late thirties! Thankfully my husband has been an absolute hero and not only did he take the kids out for a few hours of fresh air at the beach (which is where this stunning snapshot of a beach construction was taken) but he then sneaked out to do some shopping and then came home and cooked us all a delicious evening dinner – I really don’t know what I’d have done without him this week.
So here’s a post dedicated to my superhero husband – thanks for all that you do, I’m so sorry that I’m a hormonal wreck right now!

Sorry your hormones have been all over the place. Good news is that when you get to my age hormones don’t really bother you anymore…one reason to look forward to getting old 🙂 I’m glad your husband was there to be understanding and helpful. x
