Taking A Closer Look At The Wild Harmonic Oracle
In order to further illustrate and explain the Wild Harmonic Oracle, I have put together a detailed walkthrough of both the guidebook and each of the cards within the deck.
Reading With The Wild Harmonic Oracle
Whilst the Wild Harmonic Oracle may be used independently, I have spent the past week or so using these cards to compliment daily divination readings alongside Tarot and Rune cards. Though I once joked that circular shaped cards are much like coffee coasters, I actually rather like working with alternative shaped and styled cards, especially this deck as I have quite small hands and these smooth, matt-printed, cards aren’t all that big thus are super easy to shuffle.
I love it when divination decks use colour to convey messages and themes as it makes things simpler to read intuitively. That, and I’m quite the organised type so do so love it when things have been categorised into a certain order – these little details tend to appeal to my OCD tendencies!
Whilst there are sixty-five cards within the Wild Harmonic Oracle, elements (such as shadow readings) may be added or removed according to the reader’s personal preferences and requirements.
Though the cards are clearly labelled and titled, the deck is simple to shuffle and the imagery features fabulous colours and artwork, this deck sadly lacks numbers upon the cards. Though the imagery and title of the card convey part of the message to the readers, it’s always worth looking up further information from the guidebook especially if you are wishing to carry out the meditational guidance included. I personally would have found this deck easier to work with had the cards themselves been numbered in relation to the table of contents. However, I did find by flicking through the guidebook I was eventually able to locate cards by their imagery and gain further information when required.
