We started the weekend by enjoying a lovely lazy day at the lake. The kids and Paul had fun swimming and playing on the kayaks whilst I kept our belongings safe and enjoyed reading the first chapter of my new book whilst ensuring my daughter was fed, dry, and had the pebbles from her swim shoes removed at various points throughout the afternoon…
It felt great to get out, to enjoy some fresh air and to relax as a family whilst having fun and making memories which will last us a lifetime.
