Welcome to another week of #MySundaySnapshot, a snap-sharing-blog-linky series celebrating natural beauty. Click here for further information and guidelines on this linky if you wish to participate.
After yet another action-packed week, I’m so relieved that the weekend has finally arrived. I’m full to the brim with a cold and have spent the past four days suffering from what I suspect may well be Covid. Still, we managed to drag ourselves out of the house and into town this morning as I desperately needed my nails to be infilled and re-gelled and we had some serious shopping to get done. We had hoped that whilst there, we’d find a laundrette that offers dry cleaning for my son’s prom suit. Sadly, the only laundrette that provided such services was, of course, closed for the weekend…
Given that it was ‘lashing it down’ by the time we arrived home, we opted to make a cottage pie for tea – it was the ideal, cosy meal for the miserable weather, though I’m rolling around bloated now following stuffing my face. It’s such a relief to have a weekend without any concrete plans. I’m very much looking forward to a lazy Sunday and, with a little luck, a less demanding week ahead.
It’s been ‘all go’ recently, though my efforts seem to have been recognised, and we celebrated with some good news on Friday evening. Paul, bless his cotton socks, very kindly bought me some ‘promises’ as a little congratulatory gift. I love how they add colour to the kitchen and they certainly brought a smile to my chops thus I decided to share this snap this week.
Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post.

Hope you have a truly relaxing Sunday and feel much better next week!
It sounds like a stressful few days! Hope things settle down for you soon.
Beautiful flowers. Hope you are better. You don’t test anymore? I finally had to go and buy more tests as we’d used up all the ones that had been lying around the house.
