#MySundaySnapshot – Sunshine Strolls 14/52 (2021)

Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.

The Easter holidays have finally arrived and the weather is glorious thus we’ve been out and about enjoying the sunshine. This afternoon we took a drive out to lay flowers on my Dad’s grave for Easter, though it’s a sad place to visit I have to say the graveyard looked gorgeous daubed in daffodils.

Though it was completely unplanned, we then took a family stroll in the sunshine with my Mum and her daft dog. We had a fabulous time throwing a ball back and forth in an attempt to exhaust Polly (Mum’s flatcoat retriever that’s akin to a Duracell bunny), feeding the ducks in the pond, posing for pictures under ‘Echo Bridge’ and after a wonderful walk, we then headed home to enjoy some snacks from the Square. It was a brilliant and rather beautiful day.

What a beautiful photo. I’m glad things are starting to look up for you a bit now. I can’t imagine how hard the last few months must have been.

I love the angle of your photo, it makes it really unique. A visit to the cemetery is really difficult, but it does bring a kind of peace. I’ve been visiting my family for 42 years now, first my Dad, then my Nan, Mum and Little Brother. They are all in the same plot to make it a little easier. I have spent so many hours by that graveside over the years. I hope you have a really lovely Easter x
