It’s been a weird week weather wise, according to the news it was the hottest February ever recorded! I was rather enjoying basking in the sunshine but sadly the rain has return right on time for the weekend. Apparently we are about to endure ‘Storm Freya’ which I’m sure will amount to a bit of wind and rain which will be no surprise for us hardy ‘Northerners’. Stick ‘yuh big coat an and yah be reet!’
It’s as if we experience all four seasons within a week; one moment we’re making snowmen, the next we’re commenting on the dainty daffodils peeking from the hedgerows, the next day it’s sunglasses and sun-hats then just as we are getting used to the good weather, it suddenly switches back to being battered by leaves as the wind howls.
No wonder I never know what to wear, I’m never sure how to dress for the weather as the moment I blink the season switches!

What an atmospheric photo! I’m running a half marathon this morning and Storm Freya is certainly messing with my clothing choices!

Love a black and white shot always adds a slight spookiness to an image like this. This weather has been crazy, I’ll be expecting snow in July!
Snow in July sounds about right
As much as I love warm weather I found it a bit unnerving to not wear a coat in February
I’ve left my coat in the car to play it safe lol
