#MySundaySnapshot – Half-Term Happy Places 22/52 (2022)

So here we are – the half-term holidays have finally arrived and as luck would have it the sun is shining.

It’s only Saturday and already we’ve made a promising start to the holidays; Paul’s been for his first run since his surgery, and we’ve emptied, cleaned, and refilled the hot tub, Paul then scrubbed and spruced up the lawn and washed down the driveway (which is when we snapped this photo). Much to her disgust, our beloved basset hound Maisy was given her quarterly wash followed by a blooming good brush as heck did she need it. I’ve managed to get through four loads of laundry, all of which were hung on the line and dried quickly in the glorious sunshine. We then finished off our afternoon at my Mums, where we went for our weekly dog walk followed by obligatory beefburgers. It’s certainly been a productive start to the holidays!

With it being half-term I’m hoping that we might repaint our bedroom, and at some point vax the upstairs carpets but let’s see what the week ahead brings.
