Like most of you, I’m currently struggling to work out what day of the week it is, nevermind what the date or time might be. It’s always the way between Christmas and New Year, it’s as if each day merges into another but nothing matters so long as your fridge is full and you have plenty of pajamas clean and ready in the cupboard.
I’ve spent the past few days clearing and cleaning clutter from the house and sorting through the endless amounts of packaging which we collected over Christmas, all whilst living on a diet of cheese, chocolate, and nibbles. It’s not exactly healthy but that’s what floaty tops are for right?! Diets can come in the new year, I couldn’t care less for counting calories right now.
So long as I’ve got my sparkly slippers on and a drink in hand I’m quite content at present, Santa and his elves deserve a little downtime surely? Speaking of which, I have a bath to run and yet another episode of Eastenders to endure, it’s a tough life but someones got to live it.
What day is it again?
