Do you think that your home is safe? While it’s impossible to completely eradicate the risk of accidents occurring in the home (especially if you have children or pets!) there are plenty of steps that you can take to make your home a safer environment for you and your family.

#LivingArrows – These Are A Few Of My Favourite Things 15/52 (2019)

I’m so lucky to be able to spend such a vast amount of time with my children, whereas once upon a time it was an entirely different story as I worked during the evenings. I’d miss spending time with kids, they would be out at school all day and following this I’d be out at work, we were like ships in the night and I suffered with immense guilt and I hated it.

J & E work well together as a team, they know each other inside out and happily play together for hours on end.…

It’s been donkies since I’ve donned the lycra for downward dog and all that. I once loved my Yoga lessons but with the kids after-school activities and everything else that we somehow squeeze into our weekly schedule, there seemed to be very little time for anything Paul or I fancied partaking in.…

#MySundaySnapshot – The Enchanted Forest 15/52 (2019)

Welcome to the another week of the #MySundaySnapshot blog series, a recently launched blog-linky which you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part.

As you may have read in my previous posts, earlier this week we took the kids and the hound to Grizedale Forest for the day. Whilst walking around the woods, we were sure to take plenty of snaps, a few of which I used my lovely lens ball to capture curvy shots with.

I love how the lens ball gives almost an enchanted effect upon the pictures which are taken through it, although it’s really awkward to hold the ball in one hand whilst trying to snap shots with the other!…
