The Blog With The Booty
Whether you’ve all been busy with it being the Easter holidays or perhaps have lost interest in the linky I’m unsure but last week was unusually quiet on the #TuesdayTreasures link up which was ever so slightly disappointing. Here’s hoping you all take part this week and I have lots of blogs to read and to share this time around.
Each week one post which has been added to the #TuesdayTreasures linky is selected by myself to share with you all.
Being a parent to two I’m well aware that pregnancy isn’t always an easy process. Each and every parent has their own, individual experience and for some it isn’t all about cooing over baby clothes and smiling smugly as you rub your bump whilst dreaming of what may be.
There are all kinds of complications which can occur during those precious nine months and sadly for some this may result in early labour and premature birth. Paul and I had our fair share of pregnancy related complications, there was a time that we thought we too may have an premature baby following going into early labour not once but several times throughout our first pregnancy.
Thankfully both of my children made it to their due date (and beyond in J’s case) and both children were born weighing an average, healthy weight and size. We were incredibly lucky as there are thousands of premature babies born each year within the UK and what their parents must go through during those critical months must be both terrifying and traumatising.
Intrepid Bebe has written a reflective post regarding premature birth titled ‘Dear Premmie Mum; It’s Okay Not To Be Okay’. This post is massively reassuring and certainly worth reading for those parents who have suffered premature labour and birth in the past.
Jo (from Intrepid Bebe) is a Mum to a two-year old little lady who is the love of her life (along with her husband of course). Jo has travelled all over the World prior to becoming a parent. Both the journey of her travels and that of becoming and being a parent inspired Jo to start blogging. You can check out more of her posts over at her blog ‘Intrepid Baby’.
I would like to thank Jo for sharing her wonderful post and award her with the#TuesdayTreasures Trophy. Here is the code (see above) for your#TuesdayTreasures Trophy. I look forward to seeing your badge proudly on display somewhere on your fantabulous blog.
Avast Ye! (The Basics For Linking Up)
The #TuesdayTreasures linky will be live from 5 am every Tuesday and will close at the end of the day on a Thursday. As with all linkys there are some rules and the full version of these can be found here.
Basically, you can link up to a maximum of two posts, new or old. Please comment on the hosts posts and at least two other linked posts. If you can please finish your comments with #TuesdayTreasures that would be particularly helpful as it puts bloggers in the know as to how you found their posts.
If you are on Twitter then let me know, You can find me at @RachelSwirl, again try not to forget to include the hashtag #TuesdayTreasures. I will share your post and in turn share the love!
Every week I will pick my favourite #TuesdayTreasures post and will mention it at the beginning of the linky post the following Tuesday, so don’t forget to pop back each week!
Here is the badge and code for you to use in your post/ posts which you link up.
Drink Up Me’Hearties Yo Ho!
