The Blog With The Booty
Each week one post which has been added to the #TuesdayTreasures linky is selected by both Angela and myself to share with you all resulting in two winning posts (a winner is chosen by each of us).
This week I was found myself chuckling whilst reading Erica’s post ‘Not Suitable For School Run’ on her blog ‘The Incidental Parent’. I am a bit of stickler when it comes to appearance, I may not be perfectly pretty but I aim for pristine in terms of hygiene when it comes to leaving the house!
I hear about these parents that rock up to the school run with a bad case of bed head, unbrushed teeth and wearing their pyjamas. I shouldn’t judge but HOW?! How can people leave the house like this without caring? Unless they are have super model looks nobody can roll out of bed looking half decent.
I don’t care if it takes me ten, twenty or sixty minutes to get ready. I will make sure that I find the time to get ready and to make myself presentable in public.
Erica’s post addresses the above issues along with a few other grips from the typical school run scenario. Her post made me laugh out loud and rightfully takes this weeks #TuesdayTreasures trophy.
Erica describes herself as a Mother, a lover, a daughter, a friend, an ex colleague and the list goes on. She also has thoughts and beliefs away from and alongside being a Mother. However, Erica is incidentally a parent. You can read more of Erica’s posts over her blog ‘The Incidental Parent’.
