Less whining more wine … that certainly seems to be the way forward whilst staying at Club Mac, Majorca. The more booze the better, anything to mask the reality of the hotel which is akin to Benefits Britain.
Saying that the kids are having a blast, they’ve been spoilt rotten with horse rides, mini golf, swimming, parks, rides and slides, fancy hair dos and crap loads of ice cream.
We got up early today and made our way down to the lake where ponies merrily plodded around the water carrying kid after kid. Having queued (yet another blinking queue) we plonked our little ones on a pair of ponies apparently named Danni and Laura and walked by as they clip-clopped twice around the lake.
The kids were happy as Larry meanwhile I couldn’t help but to feel slightly wary given that they lacked riding hats. I may have being within arms reach and the horses may have been on lead ropes but being a rider I’m programmed to wear head protection at all times so seeing them without hats irked me a little.
Having completed their ride we took the children to lunch then headed out to the local water park to ride and slide. The kids had great fun, although E was a little slide shy at times. The sun was beaming, the temperatures finally soared into the thirties and I managed to scrounge a sun lounger free of charge to catch a few rays upon before heading back to the hotel.
Having had baths and tarted ourselves up we are now off out for another round of mini golf followed by an evening stroll into town to spend some pennies at the markets (and the bars of course).
