Conquering Canada

When thinking of the USA, a lot of people forget about little old Canada. It’s a gem that is often overlooked due to it being surrounded by the mainland USA. However, it’s important to remember that it’s completely separate from the US, so if you’re going to conquer Canada, there are different rules and regulations that you need to follow to get into the country.

Always make sure you have the right visa before travelling, and always make sure you’re not bringing anything into the country that they wouldn’t allow… they’re very very strict! So, without further ado, here’s how your can conquer Canada.

Conquering Canada

Top Places To Go

Canada is full of amazing places to visit, just like the USA. Whilst it might not be so vast, it does offer a lot of culture, sports, and just all round fun. First on the list is Edmonton. This is a perfect place to visit if you’re looking to learn about Canada’s history, have a good time at their waterpark, or visit the biggest mall in Western America. For all you shopaholics, that last one is going to be the deal breaker!

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay, Edmonton has it in abundance. Just check out Delta Hotels Edmonton South Conference Centre if you want a cheap deal with good accommodation. When you’re travelling to somewhere like Canada, you’ve most likely already spent a fortune on the flights etc. so saving on the hotel should be first on your list.

Now, if you’re going to do a bit of travelling around Canada, you should definitely head to Vancouver. It is so vast and amazing! Two spots on your hitlist should definitely be Science World if you consider yourself a bit of a geek, or just want to be amazed! And if you’re travelling with kids, the Vancouver Aquarium will blow their socks off! Again, there is plenty of places to stay, but you’ll probably find it’ll be a tad more expensive than Edmonton due to the location.

What To Pack

Unlike the USA, Canada is pretty damn cold. It’s has a climate sort of similar to the UK, at the moment they’re experience weather no higher than 10 degrees, whilst we on the other hand are finally getting that ray of sunshine! But don’t let that put you off going to Canada, you just need to pack right.

Take plenty of Jeans, walking boots, leggings, coats, jumpers, hats, gloves, and you’re away! You might find that when you’re there and walking around that you do actually warm up, but it’s best to be prepared. Luckily, their weather is more cold and snow based, rather than our horrible wind and rain based weather! Make sure you take a good quality camera, Canada has some of the most beautiful landscapes and sceneries that you’ll be able to capture.

Hopefully now you can see why conquering Canada isn’t as hard as you might think. It’s definitely not as intimidating as the US, but there is just as much to do and just as much fun to be had, we highly recommend you take a trip there soon!
