How are we halfway through September already? I swear that I blink and a week passes by, time just seems to slip away…
Though the darker nights are starting to draw in, we’ve enjoyed some super September sunshine, one day of which the temperature rose to almost thirty degrees – it was a scorcher! We made the most of the warmer weather by enjoying bike rides to the beach and ice creams whilst sat by the sea.
The kids settled back into school like ducks to water, they are so resilient these days. It beggars belief that E only has two years to go before she too will be heading to senior school like her big brother. J’s in year eight now, though from looking at him you’d be easily mistaken to place him in year eleven, what with his beanpole height and his size nine feet – he’s just grown so quickly over these past few years.
With the days whizzing by like water from a tap, time seems to disappear before my eyes and it’s only when I flick back through photos that I realise my babies are growing so fast!
