It’s most definitely ‘beginning to look a lot like Christmas’, certainly so in this household! My Mum and the kids teamed together to put up and decorate our Christmas tree. For the second year in a row, I stood back and stayed away from the chaos, watching with wonder as the magic happened. The kids must have inherited my eye for symmetry as I haven’t had to rearrange or rehang a single ornament – talk about a job made easy!
My husband has spent the past week or two hanging lights, lights, and more lights in an attempt to ‘keep up with the Jones’ as our cul-de-sac looks much like ‘Candy Cane Lane’ due to the sheer amount of decorations on display. So what if it looks like Blackpool Illuminations outside – you can never have too many lights at Christmas, right?
