It’s probably not the best time to ask the kids to write their letters and wishlists to Santa given that we’ve bought, wrapped and sorted all of the presents for Christmas this year but ’tis tradition’ and therefore that’s precisely what we did last night.
Thankfully, almost everything that both J & E wrote onto their lists is either wrapped and hidden here or with either one of their Grandparents ready for the big day, Phew!
Once written, we rolled up each of their lists and placed them into stockings for the Elf to take back to Santa (and his elves of course) at the North Pole. Low and behold, this morning the lists were gone just as we’d expected and with a little luck, they’ll both be pleased with their presents this year.
I don’t know about you but I couldn’t care less what I get for Christmas, whilst it would be lovely to have a hot tub, a new kitchen perhaps or a winning lottery ticket, nothing comes to close to watching the kids faces as they open their presents on the big day.
Thanks for reading. I look forward to catching up with your #TheOrdinaryMoments posts either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

We have written and sent our photos to Santa too. It’s such a great tradition isn’t it? Lovely photos xx
I love this tradition! We talk about what they’ll be writing on their lists for a while before they write them so we’re usually quite prepared! x
