We are now in September and autumn has officially arrived as what were once luscious, green leaves are now casting from the trees in the most beautiful shades of yellow, orange, red, and brown. Autumn is my favourite season of the year as there’s so much to celebrate what with Halloween, Bonfire Night and the run-up to Christmas – it’s a majestically magical time of year though I sadly suspect that 2020 may be somewhat different.
I imagine that there will be no trick or treating nor public firework displays to attend this year. I worry that come October we’ll most likely be back in lockdown, but needs must – we must do whatever we possibly can in order to protect ourselves and others from this vicious virus, which I hope and pray that we can combat somehow or other.
The past few months have certainly taught us how to make the most of a difficult situation, I therefore have chosen to bring ‘autumn indoors’ by creating my very own autumnal-themed sacred space at which I can sit, relax and gather focus.
This space will hopefully offer me some space, time and perhaps a few ‘ordinary moments’ when I can take five from the craziness that is our current reality.
Thanks for reading. I look forward to catching up with yourΒ #TheOrdinaryMomentsΒ posts either through your own posts or comments upon this post.
