#TheOrdinaryMoments – Muddling Through

Life is far from easy at present, there’s just so much going on right now that I barely know where to begin…

2020 has been the most difficult year of my life thus far and whilst I’m desperately trying to cope with juggling the kids, finding my way around a new job, living through a world pandemic, and dealing with the heartwrenching reality of having to watch my Dad struggle through what the Doctors and I suspect are to be the final few months of his life, I’m finding it all to be somewhat overwhelming.

Despite struggling emotionally, I’m doing my best to muddle on through and to take each day as it comes, a step at a time.

It’s most certainly the little things which make the biggest differences right now – simple luxuries such as hot bubbly baths, sweet snacks, or just five minutes under a blanket with a brew and my basset – it makes all the difference after a difficult day.

On that note – I’m off to run myself a bath and to take a little time to relax before yet another busy week begins.

Thanks for reading. I look forward to catching up with your #TheOrdinaryMoments posts either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

That is a very tough time. I am sorry to hear this year is having even more of a toll on you and your family. The last months are so tough for anyone but especially on those closest. Just remember your not alone and enjoy your small moments and dog cuddles when you can.
