Monday is almost upon us which marks a return to the routine, the half-term holiday may have only been for one week but it was certainly a welcome break.
We’ve enjoyed walks out, swimming, playdates, Halloween parties, fireworks, films, meals out, baking, board games and all sorts of family fun. Both the kids and us adults really needed the rest, I for one have appreciated the time to relax and to recharge.
It’ll be another eight weeks before we have the chance to spend such a length of time together as a family and before then we have Halloween, Bonfire Night and of course the countdown to Christmas to look forward to.
The clocks have now turned back (we sure did enjoy that extra hour!) thus winter is on the way. I already have numerous dates in the diary and the next few weeks look chocka-block with all kinds of fun and frivolities. Here’s hoping that the rain gives it a rest and that we can make the most of the next week or two without getting too wet.
Thanks for reading. I look forward to catching up with your #TheOrdinaryMoments posts either through your own posts or comments upon this post.
