Half term has officially come to an end and we were sure to bring it to a close with a bang! Earlier this afternoon we took the kids along to ‘Wacky World’, a travelling inflatable obstacle course akin to Ninja Warrior.
Both the kids and us adults had an amazing afternoon, although we were utterly exhausted by the time that we had finished bouncing, running, climbing and generally working up a sweat. Paul and I may have taken the gladiator style challenges a little too seriously, it very quickly became a brawl rather than a battle!
J had an absolute ball! He bounced around and was full of beans all afternoon. He was incredibly nimble on his feet and seemed to be an expert at everything unlike E who preferred to play it safe on the slides.
Whilst our kids (much like us) are adrenalin junkies, E is far more relaxed and prefers to spend her time getting crafty with the likes of painting, play-dough and pom-pom making. Give the girl a paintbrush and she will whizz up a masterpiece or give the girl a ball of dough and she will mould marvellous models.
Our little lady is incredibly talented (as is her big brother) and she insists that she wishes to be an artist when she is older and I am sure that she will succeed!
We’ve enjoyed a wonderful week, though it may have been eventful and somewhat tiresome at times. It’s only five weeks until we get to spend further time together and already I’ve put together plenty of plans!
Thanks for reading! I look forward to catching up with your #TheOrdinaryMoments posts either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

I am depressed that half term is over but thank you for reminding me its only five weeks away before we get time together again! That inflatable park looks like great fun. My two would love it. #ordinarymoments
Sounds like a great half term. We do love inflatable worlds like this. All three of my kids did this recently and loved it. xx #ordinarymoments
