We’ve had a wonderful week of beautiful weather, garden gazing and all-out water war! We haven’t needed to leave the house other than to carry out errands such as shopping, appointments and such-like. It’s felt very much as if we are living in very own little bubble and I’ve been quite happy doing so.
Although the sunshine has been and has most definitely gone, I’ve still got the pictures to prove just how heated things became earlier this week. Whilst the kids were busy keeping cool in the pool, I decided to blow some bubbles whilst snapping some pictures and as a result, I captured this blinder!
Bubble Babes
For the thousands of photos which I take, every now and then I achieve picture-perfection. Whilst I will admit that it’s a little easier thanks to IPhones live capture feature, credit where credit is due – this is a superbly syncronised snapshot!
Although it’s not often that I capture such images, I am pretty proud of this picture, putting aside the fact that it is ever so slightly blurry. This was an ‘ordinary moment’ transformed into something extra special through the power of the picture. As they say – a picture is worth a thousand words…
As always, thanks for reading. I look forward to catching up with your #TheOrdinaryMoments posts either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

This is a great capture! I don’t think I’d ever manage this even with iPhone live #ordinarymoments
Thanks Jenni – it’s blurry but cool x
Brilliant photo. Many years ago (about 31) before iPhones even existed, I took a photo of my baby while Daddy was blowing bubbles. I used a normal 35mm camera and when the photos were returned I’d managed to capture a bubble covering one of his eyes like a monacle. It was so funny. I’ve probably still got the photograph somewhere amongst my 1001 printed pics. x

Bubbles are so much fun! I hope the children keep loving them indefinitely! x
