I’ve just popped home from my in-laws following a scrumptious Sunday lunch, I wouldn’t usually be home so early on a Sunday only I’m about to hop into the car and to stretch myself for a ‘Yogathon’ in the name of charity, the North West Air Ambulance to be precise.
It’s been donkies since I’ve donned the lycra for downward dog and all that. I once loved my Yoga lessons but with the kids after-school activities and everything else that we somehow squeeze into our weekly schedule, there seemed to be very little time for anything Paul or I fancied partaking in. I did plan on returning to Yoga but as E’s dance lessons (and now J’s drum lessons) clash with class times I chose to put the kids first, although I’m still raring to return.
We have our weekly routine which is already busy enough as it is without trying to fit in further clubs, classes and calendar clutter. As routine goes, the boys currently bike to the in-laws and back each week, this gives J the chance to practice his pedalling whilst E and I are usually busy at swimming lessons.
I love watching the boys riding their bikes, J has grown up so quickly – it seems like only yesterday that we were chasing him around in a desperate attempt to remove his stabilisers and now you wouldn’t catch him for dust … quite literally! I’m hoping that come summer, we may be able to convince E to do the same and then we can all enjoy a bike ride.
I’d best be on my bike – I’ve places to go, things to do and muscles to stretch (though hopefully not pull!).
Thanks for reading! I look forward to catching up with your #TheOrdinaryMoments posts either through your own posts or comments upon this post.

That looks like so much fun and glad they enjoyed it. I’ve yet to venture out on a biking outing with the kids. I’m not sure how comfortable I’d feel xx
Thanks Susan – it was x
They look so cute on their bikes together and it must be great exercise too x
