Have you ever stopped to think just what it is that makes you unique? As I slumped (yet again) unsuccessfully seeking sleep, it crossed my mind just how different we all are. We each have individual tastes and particular traits which makeup our individual characters and personalities. Here are a few of the bonkers and bizarre things which I do on a daily basis which make me – me!
- I cuddle a cushion each and every night in bed, this helps to relieve pain in my elbow following a break earlier this year.
- I remove my rings (including my engagement and wedding ring) each night to reduce eczema and dry skin.
- I wear slippers for almost the entirety of my time indoors. Just wearing slippers helps me to relax and to feel ‘at home’.
- I wear both eyeliner and mascara on a daily basis. I would never dream of leaving the house without wearing makeup!
- I drink a full mug of Ovaltine every morning!
- I write a daily diary using pen and paper.
- I keep lists of the things that I need to buy, to do, to post or to arrange which I then make further lists from and tick off over time.
- I organise almost all of my files digitally in a month-by-month, year-by-year format so that I can find almost anything from any given time.
- I tidy at least twice a day, I simply cannot cope with sitting in an untidy house.
- I have a bath or a shower (or sometimes both!) and wash my hair every single day.

I have a cushion that I cuddle each night too! I had surgery on my arm a few years ago and had it propped on the pillow to start with now it’s just habit!
Lovely to learn more about you x
Thanks Kim, it does become habit but I do struggle with pain if I bend my arm when sleeping so itβs useful.
