We kick-started August with a two-day-trip to Alton Towers where we had fun on the various attractions and rides, including the Wicker Man which the kids patiently queued for, though opted out from at the very last minute (following the rather scary introduction video/ experience) thus waited at the station for us adults to brave the coaster.
