Welcome to this week’s #MySundaySnapshot post, which is part of a snap-sharing-blog-linky series that you are very welcome to join. Click here for further information and guidelines upon this linky should you wish to take part. I have no words for this week, so instead I’ve opted to borrow a rather beautiful quote that I feel sums things up. “In a world where unicorns are a rarity, be the unicorn that stands out from the rest.” Anon Thanks for reading my #MySundaySnapshot post, I look forward to catching up and sharing your #MySundaySnapshot pictures either through your own posts, social media shares or comments upon this post. Though I’m aware that my daughter isn’t the daintiest Princess on the planet, I’m still shocked by the sheer difference in sizes when it comes to shopping for her clothes. Whilst she fits 8-9 year clothing in some shops, she then requires 11-12 year clothing in others which makes buying clothes online even more of a challenge as it’s a bit like buying blindly… Though I’d specifically gone larger when ordering her this beautiful unicorn dress earlier this week (ordering a size 11-12) it’s since arrived and though it looks lovely and feels rather floaty whilst being worn, it’s, unfortunately, …
As you may have read in my previous posts, our little lady E hasn’t been all that well over the weekend and whilst she was laid up in bed recuperating and resting, she received the perfect ‘pick me up’ to cheer her spirits – a stunning storybook which had been professionally and perfectly personalised by ‘In The Book‘. Talk about rainy day activities, we’ve done nothing but this week… we’ve played games, read books, baked cookies, coloured pictures, built Lego models, pieced together puzzles and painted all sorts of stuff. This little lady has such a steady hand and concentrates so deeply whilst painting. It certainly kept her quiet for a fair few hours and isn’t entirely finished yet! E often reminds me of the Barbie doll from the backpack in Toy …
Being Mummy to a little lady I’ve grown accustomed to all things pink, glittery and fluffy – it comes with the territory. Our little E is the girliest little girly I’ve ever known, she’s a total Princess and loves to dress up as so. Whilst on an Asda run to collect sweets for the cinema E spotted this rather cute and fluffy unicorn headband and I knew instantly that it would be coming home with us or rather it’d be glued to E’s head for the foreseeable. As predicted, E has spent the past twenty-four hours dressed as a Unicorn …
