Don’t get me wrong, I love a bit of off-road driving but it’s not as if I own an off-road vehicle nor plan to purchase such a thing. Driving around my local area though is much like an off-road driving experience as the roads are quite literally falling to pieces. There are endless amounts of potholes dotted here, there and everywhere, some of which are wide enough and deep enough to cause devastating damage to your vehicle or worse, a serious accident. I do love the weekend, there’s something rather satisfying about switching the alarm off and sticking two fingers up to the school run. Seriously, sitting in the back of the our car whilst on the school run must feel like Top Gear for tiddlers. I’m no Jeremy Clarkson but I certainly find myself lacking a filter when it comes to squeezing our people carrier between a double-decker bus and some tool whose unaware of their girth and has parked half a mile away from the pavement.
