September has been ‘all change’ for the household as E started senior school, J started his final GCSE year, and I’ve adapted to working from home. It feels like the kids have grown up overnight and I’m left wondering where time disappeared to… The weekends have become somewhat sacred as Paul and I are trying our damndest to spend every moment that we can with the kids enjoying time together. September has been a really difficult month emotionally, physically, financially, and in every which way.
